The most important thing I’ve done in my career of working from home full-time, is LISTEN to people who were in the position that I wanted to be in.   One of my mentors Tom Challan talks about the ability to condense time frames and I’ve learned about keeping my home business extremely simple from him due to that saying.

You see most people that start out in this industry do so on a part-time basis in hopes of replacing their full-time income.  Here’s the problem most don’t condense time frames they extend them, what I mean by that is they make the process of start to finish with a prospect a long drawn out ordeal.

Simple Steps To Condense Time Frames

  1. Set a schedule, stick with it, make sure your family knows your schedule and don’t focus on how many phone calls you are making focus on how many conversations you are having.  More important then that focus on how many people you are exposing to your business either products, service or presentation.

(The Importance Of Keeping Track of your numbers) is you can’t lie to yourself and say you are being productive when you are truly not.

  2. Interview people that are requesting information about working from home send them to a short sizzle call if you have one in your business if not then send them to a short presentation (preferably less then 30minutes).  I have a couple of different techniques for getting more prospects in front of either choice of presentation.
    • If you are calling an aged lead you can utilize a quick call marketing technique example : Quick Call: Hi (prospect), this is (Your Name) getting back to you about your interest in starting a home business. I’m calling to get your permission to send you information about our new home business opportunity.  I think you’ll be very impressed. Would it be ok if I sent you the information?  (There’s more to it but that is a sample)
    • If you are calling a targeted lead that is responding specifically to you or your business I utilize a script of Dani Johnson, you can get it and three mp3′s if she is still giving the free audios away by clicking here
  3. Have confidence when you get back on the phone with your prospect and close them with confidence DO NOT ask them what they think, ask them what they liked or say that makes sense doesn’t it and wait for their response.  Then ask them “are you ready to get yourself started.”  When they get started your next step is to immediately plug them into outsourced training, either through your company if it is teaching them what they need to do to produce results immediately or if they don’t do that then plug them into Priority Team.

It is extremely important that you outsource the training to condense time frames.  You don’t have time to teach them because you don’t get paid a trainers fee number 1, you also are not available 24/7 and although you may be a great trainer the duplication you are teaching is going to slow down your production because most won’t know how to train and won’t do anything because they don’t want to do that.  They are looking at you and if you outsource they will outsource and you all can duplicate and win.

The key behind condensed time frames is YOU MUST TAKE ACTION! No one is going to do it for you and business works when you work it.  Continue to get better through training and understand that no one else can stop you but you.
