Peculiar People…

hmmmmm….. My life coach and one of my mentors always told me find out what everyone else is doing and do the exact opposite. Now Wooooooo Tonto! as the Lone Ranger use to say, do the exact opposite? If you are following someone successful then of course follow their lead. I want to make sure that you didn’t go off the deep end after I read what I wrote but, when it comes to the masses do the exact opposite. Why? Because 98% of the population will be dead or dead broke by the age of 65, 2% will be financially independent and that doesn’t have to mean rich for those of you who are afraid of wealth, but knowing this we must not be the same moving forward in life.

So are you wondering why the title Peculiar People when in this day and age when we think of peculiar, most people would think weirdo? I honestly don’t care what most people think because most people have what I’ve heard of as stinking thinking. Oh stop it! I’m not pointing the finger at you, LOL we’ve all had a stinking thinking thought but, we can also clean our brains just like our body if we choose too, by changing our surroundings meaning what we read, listen too and watch. Now that deserves a celebration (LOUD symbols, horns and applause go off)

So again why Peculiar People be more specific you are probably asking. Well my reason is and no I’m not bible thumping you, but I simply believe that we are here to achieve greatness and The King of Kings people are great. It says in 1 Peter 2:9 King James Version But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

Definitions of Peculiar;

unusual: unusual, strange, or unconventional
unique: belonging exclusively to or identified distinctly with somebody or something
Distinct from all others, distinctive; exclusive; particular; unique; special: a matter of peculiar interest; out of the ordinary

The True Story of The Peculiar King
Kings are peculiar people and I leave you with this powerful true story ~ There was a pro golfer in the U.S. and a very wealthy King overseas who wanted the golfer to come visit him and give some private time showing the king some techniques and enjoying the game of golf on the Kings private golf course. Of course the golfer obliged and thought how wonderful to be among such a great individual as most of us think of Kings. Matter of fact he spent a few days at his kingdom well when the golfers stay was over the King was very thankful for the golfers time and he said “thank you for your time and as a token of my appreciation I would like to give you anything you desire.” The golfer replied “I don’t need anything at all you were a very kind host.” But the King insisted and wasn’t going to accept no for an answer. So the golfer said to the King “okay just send me a golf club” and the king agreed.

Back in the states the golfer anxiously awaited the gift with excitement, everyday rushing to his mail box to see if his gift had arrived imagining if the club was going to be all gold or wrapped in diamonds. Finally 4 weeks goes by and he received a certified letter in the mail from the King, in that certified letter was his golf club an actual deed to a 500 acre golf club and not just a golf club.

Why Think Small?
You see my friends the moral to this true story is Kings are BIG THINKERS and think way beyond what most people ever fathom. My wish for you is that you realize that your father in heaven the King of all Kings is the most gracious giver and can give you anything you wish for if you truly believe with faith. Stop thinking small and see what happens when you align faith with action. He says in John 15:7-8 “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. ⁸ By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.”

Another verse I leave you with is Matthew 7:7-12 ⁷ “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. ⁸ For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. ⁹ Or what man is there among you who, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? ¹⁰ Or if he asks for a fish, will he give him a serpent? ¹¹ If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! ¹² Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets

My Moral To This Post
You understand now, Kings are peculiar people there’s nothing wrong with peculiar, you should want to be peculiar and then just do it. We want you to realize God is The King of all Kings and it’s okay to have a relationship with him no matter how far apart from him you’ve been, what you’ve been told your whole life or what your friends or family will think.
